Washington state ranks fifth in Q3 venture capital dollars
Washington state ranked fifth in terms of venture capital investments during the third quarter as $ 171 million was invested in 29 deals, according to the MoneyTree report from PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association.
That’s down from the previous quarter when $ 187 million was invested in 37 deals, and off slightly from the same period last year. Those numbers differ from a report released earlier this week by CB Insights, which tracked $ 222 million into 34 deals in the state during the quarter.
